Outline Lecture and practical training to learn the theory and practice of scientific dating including radiocarbon dating and dendrochronology, and its application to archaeological and/or historical study.
Learning objectives To learn scientific dating through experiments of sample preparation, measurement and analysis, and acquire the basics of interdisciplinary research.
Grading policy Discussion 30%, report 30%, experiment 40%.
